Greenville Police seek teams for adult dodgeball tournament to benefit anti-gang programs

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville Police Department is gearing up for a dodgeball tournament as part of the agency’s effort to prevent gang activity in the city.

Police said the GRAVITY Dodgeball Tournament will be held Saturday, July 29 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena.

The co-ed tournament is open to teams of adults. Team registration and sponsorship starts at $150. The deadline to register is Friday.

The tournament proceeds will benefit the Greenville Police Department's anti-gang and anti-violence GRAVITY programs.
