Much like yesterday, today will present more normal heat for this time of year with high temperatures near 90 in the Upstate and middle 80s in the mountains with partly to mostly sunny skies.
It’s this type of heat that will stay place for Wednesday & Thursday with just isolated afternoon thunderstorms that we typically see in summer.
A cold front will move through the area on Friday which will cause more scattered rain and storm activity during the 2nd half of the day, but should be mostly gone by Saturday morning.
Cooler air will work its way in behind the front for the rest of the weekend putting our highs in the lower 80s in the mountains to middle 80s in the Upstate with our standard limited afternoon rain chances. This pattern should continue into early next week too.
