MILLS RIVER, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Henderson County detectives said Thursday they had located and spoken to two people who may have witnessed an incident Wednesday morning.

Deputies said the two vehicles, a small black 4-door sedan and a gray/silver full-sized truck, were traveling on South Mills River Road on Wednesday around 8:40 a.m.

Deputies believe these drivers may have information that would assist in the investigation.

On Wednesday, deputies asked for the public's help identifying the vehicles and their owners.

Thursday morning, deputies s canceled the request and thanked both the public and the media for getting the word out.
