I-40 West reopens after crash in Haywood County

MAGGIE VALLEY, NC (FOX Carolina) -

I-40 West in Haywood County was closed past Maggie Valley after a crash Friday morning but reopened around 8:30 a.m., according to the NCDOT.

The NCDOT said the westbound lanes were closed one mile east of Exit 7, the Cold Spring Creek Road exit.

The lane closure began around 3:30 a.m.

No other details were released.
