TRYON, NC (FOX Carolina) -

The Town of Tryon said a portion of Scriven Road was closed Friday morning after a gas line was rupture.

The closure was between McDonald Street and Carolina Yarn.

Tryon firefighters said a backhoe working in the area hit the natural gas line.

No other details were immediately available.
