Warrant: Greenville man used brass knuckles to assault victim, steal car

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office said a Greenville man was arrested on Thursday after a violent carjacking in June.

According to an arrest warrant, on June 28, Kenny James Robinson was arrested after stealing a 2000 Buick LaCrosse from a man on Shirley Circle near Broadway Lake. Robinson is accused of choking the victim and assaulting him with brass knuckles.

The victim was transported to AnMed for treatment for his injuries.

The arrest warrant indicates the 31-year-old suspect was arrested with the stolen vehicle in Greensboro, North Carolina.
