Coroner identifies driver killed after ejected from vehicle in Union Co. crash

BUFFALO, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Troopers said a driver is dead after a crash in Union County Friday evening.

The crash happened at 4:50 p.m. on Linersville Road near Brown Road.

Troopers said the driver was heading south on Linersville Road in a 2002 Chevrolet S10 when the driver ran off the right side of the road, over-corrected and drove off the left side of the road before the vehicle overturned.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle, said troopers, and died from injuries.

The coroner identified the victim as 23-year-old Jacob Taylor Wade of Pauline. He was transported to Union Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 5:30 p.m.
