GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies responded to a shooting occurred in Greenville County on Saturday night.

The incident happened on Waco Street around 10:34 p.m., according to dispatchers.

Deputies said the incident began as an argument between two people, during which one person pulled out a gun and opened fire. The victim was struck at least once.

A bullet also struck a vehicle, according to deputies a child was hit by glass. The sheriff's office said the child is OK.

The incident remains under investigation.
