GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A HAZMAT crew was called to the scene of a chemical spill in Greenville County on Monday.

Deputies said the incident occurred at the Honeywell Aerospace on South Buncombe Road in Greer around 7:40 a.m. The spill occurred inside the building.

Firefighters said a small leak was contained in the waste building of the facility.

Emergency officials are working to decontaminate the scene and said there is no danger to the public.

No injuries were reported.
