SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Seneca woman was arrested over the weekend on charges of grand larceny and third degree burglary.

Per the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, 35-year-old Ashley Brook Sanders broke into an address on Forest Drive and took two chainsaws, a DEWALT saw and various hand tools from the residence. The items were valued at more than $2,000, per deputy reports.

Deputies say the incident occurred on June 14, and a further investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division connected Sanders to the burglary.

Sanders was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on Saturday at 6:34 p.m.

She was released on Sunday after posting a combined $15,000 surety bond on the two charges.
