HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Investigators with the Henderson County Sheriff's Office are asking businesses in Tennessee to check their security cameras to aid in their investigation of the western NC manhunt suspect's timeline.

Deputies say they need businesses in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Dandridge to check their security footage for traces of Phillip Stroupe II who may have traveled to those areas of Tennessee during the days-long manhunt.

"Any business that may have camera footage of roads or parking areas along the corridors stretching from Gatlinburg to Dandridge, TN between the hours of 10:30am and 10:30pm on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, are requested to check footage for sightings of the 2007 silver Honda Ridgeline or first degree murder and kidnapping suspect Phillip Michael Stroupe II," deputies said in a release.

Businesses who witness sightings in their surveillance footage are asked to contact the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 697-4911 or local law enforcement.
