Rain chances will increase late this week and toward the weekend. Expect temperatures to remain below normal for the next 7 days.
Mostly cloudy skies stick around today, with only a slight chance for afternoon showers. Highs stay in the low to mid-80s with muggy air.
The better chances for rain and storms arrive on Friday, and last into the weekend. It's due to a cold front that will arrive Friday night and stall over our area for Saturday and Sunday. This will provide a focus for showers and storms, but rain won’t be widespread. Rain chance Friday will be 30-50 percent, then about a 40 percent chance for rain both Saturday and Sunday.
We’ll keep rain chances in each afternoon through early next week, with some warmer temps headed our way.
