SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office said a 67-year-old man is facing multiple charges after an investigation into the sexual assault of four young children.

On July 27, deputies said 67-year-old Calvin Carroll Cochran coerced the victims into his house on South Gate Drive under the threat of violence. He is also accused of threatening to call law enforcement if they didn't comply.

Arrest warrants indicate the children were three females and a male between the ages of 7 and 9 years old.

Deputies said after Cochran inappropriately touching the victims, he exposed them to a pornographic movie.

When investigators executed a search warrant, they found a small knife in his possession.

Cochran was arrested and charged with four counts of kidnapping, four counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, and four counts of dissemination of obscene material to a minor under the age of 12.

He was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on a $240,000 bond.

“These children were outside playing which is something that all of us enjoyed doing when we were children and were lured to come into this defendant’s home by threats of violence and a threat to call law enforcement if they failed to comply,” said Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw.  “It is disturbing that law enforcement was used to lure the children into the house.  Law enforcement is there to serve and protect all of our citizens, including our children."
