GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville Police Department is investigating a shooting which left one person injured on Thursday.

Officers said they responded to Citgo Corner Mart at Laurens Road and West Antrim Drive, where they said a male victim suffered a gunshot wound. Police said that while on scene, they learned that the incident had actually happened two buildings over at Mack House Studios.

According to officers, all parties involved in the incident are accounted for and there is no threat to the public.

Police said the victim was transported to the hospital with an apparent non-life-threatening injury. That victim was also the person who was arrested in the case.

Officers said suspect 25-year-old Quashawn Martez Kristopher McCrary has been charged with pointing and presenting a firearm and unlawful carrying of a pistol in connection with the incident.

Police said McCrary produced a firearm during an argument with someone at Mack House Studios. The victim then pulled out his own firearm and fired at McCrary, striking him, officers said.

After being shot, McCrary ran to the Citgo.

The investigation is ongoing.
