GAFFNEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said a suspect wanted after a sexual assault and kidnapping has been captured after three days on the run.

Deputies said on Tuesday, they were dispatched to a location on Marietta Street where an assault had occurred around 7:35 a.m. Two days later, they were called to an attempted burglary at the same location around 6:21 a.m.

Will Pierce, 40 years old, was identified as a suspect in both incidents. Sheriff Steve Mueller said Pierce is now wanted on charges for first-degree assault and battery, kidnapping, first-degree criminal sexual conduct and first-degree burglary.

Pierce is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 160 pounds with light brown hair and green eyes. Deputies released a photo of his right shoulder tattoo.

On Friday, deputies said they received a tip that Pierce was in the Happy Valley Area. A citizen directed deputies to a home on Kraft street where Pierce was located and taken into custody.

A woman was also arrested, Sharon Lynn Cole, who deputies said harbored Pierce. She is charged with obstruction of justice.
