Entercom stations host Radiothon to benefit GHS Children's Hospital

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Seven Entercom radio stations will complete a two-day “Radiothon” on Friday to raise money for the GHS Children’s Hospital.

The Radiothon will be broadcast live from the lobby of the Greenville Health System’s Greenville Memorial Hospital campus from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m on B93.7, 93.3 The Planet, 96.3 The Block, Magic 98.9, Classic Rock 101.1, 106.3 WORD, and ESPN Upstate.

Entercom said the broadcasts will feature on-air vignettes highlighting the journeys of former and current hospital patients and their families, live interviews with doctors of the GHS Children's Hospital, and more. Visitors to the live broadcast area can also meet on-air personalities, including Hawk N Tom, The Rise Guys, Bob McLain, Tara Servatius, Sheri Taylor, Stoneman, JJ Solomon, Greg McKinney, Mark Sturgis, and others.

The Radiothon to benefit GHS Children’s Hospital is in its tenth year.

Entercom said prior events have raised a total of $2.6 million.
