A pleasant evening is ahead as skies will remain clear for the Upstate and the mountains. Temps will cool into the upper 60s for the Upstate and low 60s in the mountains under clear skies.
Tonight and Sunday for the most part will be rain-free with lows in the upper 50s and middle 60s in the mountains and Upstate respectively followed by highs in the lower to middle 80s.
However, an isolated thunderstorm can’t be ruled out. Rain chances will increase substantially on Monday as a front stalls over the area with scattered afternoon storms expected pretty much every day next week.
Meanwhile in the tropics, there are two disturbances that could become named storms in the coming days, so that is something we’re monitoring very closely.
The next two names on the list are Franklin and Gert. You can get the latest on our WEATHER BLOG
