Expect low-flying planes in Chimney Rock area on Saturday

CHIMNEY ROCK, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Officials with Chimney Rock State Park are warning residents of low flying planes expected in the area on Saturday.

The NC Air National Guard will be flying their C-130s for the last time on Saturday. They will be launched to conduct a final low level route through North Carolina and will be flying low in the valley next to Chimney Rock just after 1 p.m.

The park shared the news on their Facebook page as a disclaimer for those in the area:
