SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies in Oconee County said a man was arrested after a man used gardening shears to frighten people and stab an ice machine in the Seneca Walmart on Monday.

Arriving deputies said customers were running from the store and told them about the scene inside.

Deputies said 19-year-old Stephen Denisio was still carrying the shears when they located him. At first, deputies said Denisio refused to drop the shears until deputies unholstered a Taser and threatened to use it.

Denisio was then arrested and charged with breach of peace and malicious damage to real property

Denisio is accused of causing $300 worth of damage to the ice machine by punching and stabbing it.
