GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Officials with the Greenville City Police Department said a crash left a sewer line in the middle of the street Wednesday night.

The scene unfolded along Rutherford Road near North Pleasantburg Drive.

Police told FOX the motorist that initially ran into the line didn't cause any huge damage to it, and his car wasn't damaged either so he went on his way after the crash.

Officials said the pipe was supposed to be in the median of the street, but because it was dragged into a busy intersection, multiple people ran into it, dragging into oncoming traffic.
