Officials confirmed Powdersville High School, along with three others schools, was on lockdown Monday.

Superintendent David Havird confirmed Concrete Primary, Powdersville Elementary, Middle and High School were placed on lockdown while deputies search for suspects in the area.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office said a search was underway for three suspects in connection with a residential robbery in Easley. No one was home at the time, but deputies said a neighbor called 911 to report the robbery.

Deputies said the suspects attempted to flee after crashing their vehicle on Venus Court. Two suspects were arrested but a third escaped.

A manhunt was underway in the area.
