CLINTON, S.C. (AP) - Chandler Burks threw for 93 yards and a touchdown, ran for three scores, and Kennesaw State wore down Presbyterian College 28-0 on Saturday for a school-record seventh straight win.

The Owls, who entered as the nation's best rushing team averaging 333 yards per game, were held to 108 yards on the ground in the first half. But Burks scored on a keeper and threw for a 17-yard TD to Jake McKenzie for a 14-0 halftime lead.

Kennesaw State (7-1, 3-0 Big South) rolled in the second half, scoring on two straight possessions and more than doubled its rushing yardage while stopping Presbyterian (3-5, 0-2) once on downs and forcing a fumble.

Burks gained 78 yards on 14 carries, including second-half scores of 2- and 1-yard runs. The Owls, which lead the conference in total offense at 452.9 yards per game, gained 397 total yards, including 90 rushing yards by Bronson Rechsteiner on 17 carries.
