Greenville Co. deputies search for suspect after Aldi robbed at gunpoint

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies have asked for help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery at an Aldi grocery store.

Deputies said the robbery happened at the Aldi on Chalmers Road on November 7 around 8:15 p.m.

Deputies said the man pulled out a small, compact handgun and held the cashier at gunpoint while he took money from the register.

The man then left in a gray sedan.

Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are asking that anyone with information relating to this incident to contact Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 864-23-CRIME.
