Sean “P Diddy” Combs took to Instagram Sunday night to express his interest in buying the panthers.

The hip hop star posted a video to fans of the “North Carolina Panthers,” outlining his plan to add Colin Kaepernick as the team’s quarterback and have the best half-time shows and music in the NFL.

Diddy’s plan was not well received by all, with many commenters educating him that the Panthers are a two-state team and many expressing their support for Cam Newton and not wanting to see him get booted for Kaepernick.

Carolina Panthers’ owner Jerry Richardson announced Sunday that he would sell the NFL franchise after the current season ends. Richardson said he felt it was time the team had new ownership but said the team would not be for sale until the Panthers play their last game of the season.
