Police: Possibly armed, dangerous persons of interest in custody after Asheville thefts

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Police in western North Carolina said two persons of interest considered "potentially armed and dangerous" were captured on Wednesday.

The Asheville Police Department said they were looking for Dennis Gates Miller, 25, and Hope Elizabeth Baker, 35. In a press release, police said that Miller and Baker are persons of interest in numerous thefts around the Asheville area. Both suspects have multiple warrants out for their arrest including several felonies.

Police said that Miller and Baker were potentially armed and dangerous and that no one should approach them.

On Tuesday, the Asheville Police Department confirmed Miller and Baker were taken into custody on Acton Circle with assistance from the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office and the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
