ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) - Isaiah Williams was fouled as he hauled in an offensive rebound and then made two free throws in the final ten seconds as Liberty rallied to beat Winthrop 73-70 on Tuesday night.

Liberty trailed 70-69 when Lovell Cabbil missed a 3-point attempt. Williams grabbed the rebound, was fouled and made both free throws to give Liberty a 71-70 lead with nine seconds left. Ryan Kemrite added two more free throws in the final second to give Liberty its third straight Big South win and stopped a 13-game losing skid at Winthrop that dated back to 2004.

Cabbill had 19 points, Caleb Homesley added 13 and Georgie Pacheco-Ortiz added 11 for the Flames (12-5, 3-1).

Liberty trailed 70-63 with 2:43 remaining. Pacheco-Ortiz scored six straight to close to 70-69.

Adam Pickett scored 21 points for the defending Big South champions. Winthrop (7-8, 1-3) now has lost three straight.
