GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Facebook's Community Boost program is coming to Greenville this summer.

In November 2017, the social media site announced Facebook Community Boos as an initiative to provide digital skills and training to local businesses, workers and nonprofits.

The program will visit 30 cities across the country in 2018 and Greenville is among the first handful of stops.

Facebook said it will work with local organizations to help business owners wanting to expand their digital presence, job seekers looking to improve their skills, and community members wanting to get more involved in their city.

The official dates for Greenville's training are May 29 through June 1.
