GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police are on scene after a gunshot victim was found along Rutherford Road Friday night.

The call came in at 7:20 p.m.

Sgt. Johnathan Bragg with Greenville City Police Department said the victim was located along the 100 block.

The victim was awake and talking, and was transported to the hospital for treatment, said Bragg.

Officers said the incident is being investigated as a robbery and home invasion. They were still working to determine if anything had been stolen.

Police said the victim was at the hospital, and that his injuries didn't appear to be life threatening.

Officers were still working to identify the suspect. Police said "at least two individuals with their faces covered" was the only description they had of possible suspects.
