ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Troopers responded to the scene of two different car collisions along I-85 N Saturday evening.

The incidents happened near mile marker 37 just before 11:20 p.m.

Troopers said the first wreck involved three vehicle. Two of the vehicles were traveling north on I-85 and a third vehicle was on the shoulder. The driver in the Chevy slowed down for traffic and was struck by the driver in the Dodge, causing the driver in the Chevy to strike the Toyota that was on the shoulder, troopers said.

The driver in the Dodge was charged with driving too fast for conditions. The driver was not injured.

Troopers say the driver in the Chevy and the driver in the Toyota, along with one passenger in that vehicle, were injured and transported by EMS to the hospital.

The second collision involved two vehicles. Troopers say both vehicles were traveling north on I-85 when the driver in the Kia slowed down for traffic and both the Kia and a Honda struck. The driver in the Honda was charged with driving too fast for conditions.

Neither driver was injured.

Fire crews with the Wren Fire Department and Anderson County Fire Department responded to assist with the wrecks.
