Duo accused of break-ins, thefts from more than 30 victims throughout Buncombe Co.

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Asheville police said a man and woman face a list of charges in connection with break-ins, thefts, and car thefts across Buncombe County.

Police said Dennis Gates Miller and Hope Elizabeth Baker were arrested on January 10.

The two are linked to more than two dozen breaking and entering, larceny of motor vehicle and possession of stolen good incidents involving more than 30 victims, police said.

Miller was charged with 15 felonies and 10 misdemeanors and Baker with two felonies.

Additional charges are likely.

The Asheville Police Department said it is working with the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office, the Woodfin Police Department, NC State Highway Patrol and the Fletcher Police Department to locate the victims in this case.
