EASLEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Officers say at least two people were injured in a shooting in Easley Monday night.

The Easley Police responded to the scene on Coconut Street shortly after 9 p.m. after a 911 call came in from a female caller saying herself and her fiance had been shot.

When officers arrived on scene they found the two victims suffering from injuries.

Officers say it appears an unknown person or persons gained entry to the residence and discharged a firearm(s) multiple times.

The make victim appeared to have been struck multiple times and the female victim appeared to have been struck once in the leg, police said. Two other people in the residence were not injured.

Both of the injured victims were transported to the hospital for treatment. The extent of the male' injuries are unknown at this time, and the female victim appears to have non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Easley Police Department at 864-859-4025.
