OCONEE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Oconee County Coroner's Office says a woman has died after being found unresponsive in a holding cell at the detention center.

The coroner's office identified the woman as 26-year-old Nathlee Nicole Wright of Gastonia, North Carolina.

Wright was arrested and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on Jan. 12, the coroner said. The coroner's office said she was found unresponsive in a holding cell on Jan. 20.

Officers at the detention center administered CPR and EMS was called, the coroner said.

According to the coroner, Wright was resuscitated and treated at Oconee Memorial Hospital before being transferred to Greenville Memorial.

Wright was pronounced dead at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, the coroner said.

The coroner said no traumatic event or fatal injuries occurred to Wright.

After an autopsy, the coroner said results were inconclusive and will require further testing. Microscopic and toxicology studies are being conducted.

Sheriff Mike Crenshaw asked the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division to investigate the incident.
