GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police responded to an attempted robbery call in Greenville on Friday, said Sgt. Johnathan Bragg with the Greenville Police Department.

Bragg said officers were on scene at BB&T at 1533 Wade Hampton Blvd.

The call was in reference to a possible attempted bank robbery. Police said no weapons were seen.

Police said the bank robber, later identified as 46-year-old Reginald Brock, was arrested and charged with bank robbery and giving a false name to police, thanks to the help of K9 Rocky, responding officers and detectives.

Officers said Brock walked into the BB&T and presented a note to a teller demanding money. Police said Brock left the bank and was later apprehended on Spartanburg Street after K9 units tracked him two miles away at his residence.
