US 123 reopens in Seneca after bus crash

SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

US 123 was shut down near Seneca Monday morning after a crash knocked power lines onto the roadway.

Oconee County Fire Chief Charlie King said a no injuries were reported.

Officials at the scene said a large passenger van and an SUV were involved.

According to the SC Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:45 a.m. near the intersection of Sonnys Drive just beyond the SC 93 fork.

King said power lines were blocking the north and southbound lanes of the road.

By 8 a.m. traffic was moving again.
