Former Jimmy John's worker charged with burglary at downtown Greenville location

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville Police Department said a former Jimmy John's worker accused of breaking into the downtown location has been arrested.

Officers said Wednesday they were looking for Gary Storey in relation to a theft at Jimmy John's on McBee Avenue. The incident occurred on Jan. 27 after midnight, police said. 

According to police, Storey entered the restaurant and took an undisclosed amount of money. Storey was a former employee at the restaurant, officers said.

On Thursday morning, police announced that Storey had been arrested and charged with burglary second degree.
