SPARTANBURG COUNTY (FOX Carolina) -

A water main break on Wednesday has prompted a boil water advisory for some customers in the Spartanburg County area, said officials.

LCF Water District said the water main break resulted in low pressure and loss of water to some customer.

Due to the repair, LCF is advising customers in the area of Successful Way and on Bryant Rd from US 221 to Successful Way, to boil water for at least 1 full minute before use, until further notice.

LCF Water District employees are on site and the repair was expected to be complete by 9 p.m.

Anyone with questions concerning the advisory is asked to contact Johnny Jackson, General Manager, at (864) 978-9837.
