GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies said they have arrested a man accused of beating and tying up a woman at a home Wednesday night.

Deputies said they were called to a home on Old Buncombe Road around 9:20 p.m. after the victim was able to get free and call 911.

Deputies said they learned the suspect might be in the home and the SWAT team mobilized. When they made entry into the home later in the night, deputies said the suspect was not there.

On Thursday morning, deputies identified the suspect as Shawn Mitchell Dickson, 41.

Warrants were signed charging Dickson with kidnapping and domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.

Dickson was apprehended at a home on Holley Lane and taken into custody without incident.

He received no bond in charges of kidnapping, domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature and resisting arrest, during his bond hearing on Thursday.
