Greenville Co. deputies investigating 'potentially inappropriate relationship' between teacher, student

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is investigating allegations of possible inappropriate contact involving a Greenville County School District teacher.

Deputies said they received a report on Jan. 30 about a "potentially inappropriate relationship" between a teacher and a student at Blue Ridge High School.

Deputies said no charges have been filed but the investigation is ongoing.

Greenville County Schools released the following statement regarding the investigation: 

Blue Ridge High School recently received allegations of possible inappropriate conduct by a teacher.  Law enforcement was immediately notified.  Administration and the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the matter.
