Gowdy took to Twitter on Friday to say the memo raises "serious concerns" about the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, but that he has confidence in the majority of the officials serving with the FBI and Department of Justice.

He maintained that he has "100 percent" confident in Special Counsel Robert Mueller, former FBI director serving as special counsel to investigate possible collusion between the Russian government and the Trump campaign.
