Troopers: Driver charged after crashing into patrol vehicle along I-85 in Anderson Co.

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Troopers reported a crash in Anderson County Friday night.

The call came in just before 9:30 p.m.

According to SC Highway Patrol, the incident happened along I-85 near mile marker 40 NB.

Troopers said a 2016 Ford SUV was slowing down to exit at mile marker 40 when a 2007 Honda lost control, hit a guard rial and then the rear of the Ford SUV.

The driver of the Honda received minor injuries and was charged with driving too fast for conditions. The driver of the Ford SUV was not injured.

Troopers said the SUV was registered to Anderson County.
