Over 3K Duke Energy customers without power in Greenville Co. due to fallen trees, limbs

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Approximately 3,235 Duke Energy customers are without power in Greenville County Sunday afternoon due to fallen trees or limbs, Duke Energy officials say.

Per the Duke Energy outage map, the majority of the outages are taking place along Rutherford Road and Mountain Creek Church Road, as well as Meadow Brook Drive and Adams Mill Road.

Traffic lights are currently out on Rutherford Road at Mountain Creek Church Road.

The outages were first reported around 9:30 a.m. and were caused by fallen trees or limbs damaging the power equipment, officials say.

In Spartanburg County, Duke Energy is also reporting 647 customers without power.
