GREENWOOD, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Investigators with the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office are searching for a suspect they say robbed a cashier at ALDI at gunpoint Saturday night.

Deputies say the suspect entered the ALDI located on Montague Avenue around 9 p.m.

He then held one of the cashiers up at gunpoint while he took an unknown amount of cash from the register, they said.

The suspect was able to flee the scene. No details are known about his direction of travel.

There were no injuries.

Deputies shared surveillance footage of the suspect. They are asking anyone who can identify the individual to call Investigator Matt Noblin at 864-943-8039.
