Transylvania Co. deputies ask for help identifying armed robbery suspect

PISGAH FOREST, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Transylvania County deputies have asked for help identifying a man suspected of robbing the Triangle Stop on Hendersonville Highway in Pisgah Forest at gunpoint.

Deputies said the robbery happened Sunday around 8 p.m.  The man entered the store wearing black or dark colored pants, a reflective yellow jacket with silver reflective tape on it, and Nike Air shoes. He also had on a half face mask that covered the face below the eyes.

Deputies said the man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The man then fled with the money and may have got into a small white or light-colored vehicle parked on Crab Creek Road.

Deputies said they found a jacket and a pair of Nike Air shoes were located dumped along Crab Creek Road. A company logo was cut out of the back and the front right of the jacket, deputies said.
