The Greenville County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene of a bank robbery on Monday.

Dispatchers said the robbery call came in just before 1:30 p.m. from the SunTrust on Farrs Bridge Road near Berea.

According to deputies, a male suspect in a dark-colored jacket with a hood and a gray mask on the lower part of his face passed a note to a teller indicating he was armed. Deputies said the note demanded cash and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount.

There were no reported injuries in the incident.
