GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The owner of Terrace Restaurants said the downtown Greenville location closed its doors for good on Sunday.

Founder and CEO Stewart Penick said the South Main Street restaurant didn't have enough sales or support to justify staying open. Stewart said they are working to find another tenant for the spot near Rick Erwin's and the Army Navy Store as soon as possible.

The Greenville location has been open less than a year.

The closing does not affect the two Terrace restaurants in the Charlotte area.
