Asheville police searching for woman missing since Jan. 28

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Asheville police are working to track down a woman who was reported missing in late January.

Police said Monica Sheree Sellars was reported missing on January 28.

Sellars’ mother said the 28-year-old was last seen at the Ingles on Leicester Highway.

Sellars is 5’5” tall, weighs between 130 and 160 pounds, and has hazel eyes.

“We have received several leads as to her location and investigators are currently following up on those,” said Christina Hallingse, Public Information Officer with the Asheville Police Department.

Police ask anyone with any information on Sellars’ whereabouts to please contact the Asheville Police Department at 828-252-1110 or Crime Stoppers at 828-255-5050.
