Coroner: Woman dies after injuries in Fountain Inn house fire

FOUNTAIN INN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Laurens County Coroner's Office has identified the victim of a deadly house fire on Wednesday.

Coroner Nick Nichols said the fire occurred at a home on Raymond Drive in Fountain Inn.

Lugenia Jane Sullivan, 60, suffered smoke inhalation and thermal burns resulting in her death around 7:35 p.m., Nichols said.

The Fountain Inn Fire Department said they arrived on scene to a well involved single wide mobile home fire. 

The home is a total loss, the fire department said. 

The fire department said the fire started in the middle of the home, but the cause has not yet been determined. 

SLED is currently investigating the fire.
