UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies in Union County said a man was arrested and charged with manufacturing meth after a suspicious mobile home fire on Saturday.

Deputies said they were called to an address in a mobile home park on Peach Orchard Road after firefighters found a backpack near where the fire started.

Deputies inspected the backpack and said they found items used to make meth inside.

John Anthony Stafford, 29, was arrested later that day and charged with manufacturing meth, second offense.
