FOUNTAIN INN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A family of four was displaced Sunday morning after a house fire in Fountain Inn.

Per Assistant Fire Chief Russell Alexander of the Fountain Inn Fire Department, a family of four was at church when their home caught fire on the 50 block of Ridan Road. The call came in at 9:32 a.m.

Chief Alexander said the fire itself was contained to the rear, but that there was damage throughout the home due to smoke and heat. The home was deemed a total loss.

No injuries were reported.

The Clear Springs Fire Department and Durbin Creek Fire Department also responded to the blaze.

Red Cross is assisting the family with lodging and other necessities.

At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown.
