GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Powerball ticket worth $150,000 sold in Greenville County has been claimed!

The South Carolina Education Lottery said the winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven on Old Buncombe Road for Saturday's drawing. The lottery player paid an additional $1 for PowerPlay, which tripledd the $50,000 prize.

On Thursday, lottery officials said a Travelers Rest man was the winner of the prize. And the first thing he planned to do?

“I’m ordering a fat steak,” he said.

The winner said he is inviting his father to his fancy dinner since the two have been playing Powerball for years. Although the son was the first to win big, his father said he's not jealous.

“I’m getting a free dinner out of it,” the father said.
